Planning and Noise
When new mechanical equipment is proposed, it is becoming common practice for Local Authorities to require an acoustic survey to be carried out to establish the existing environmental noise levels.
In addition, the Local Authority would also require a Noise Impact Assessment to be produced to demonstrate that the existing environmental noise levels will not be increased by the proposed new mechanical equipment. This may require some noise reduction measures to ensure that the appropriate criteria are achieved.
All Seasons…. can provide this service for our Clients through our association with Acoustic Consultants, Sound Analysis Ltd, or alternatively Clients can arrange this direct with the Consultants, and we would liaise with them and provide the necessary data for the Noise Impact Assessment as part of our service.
